  The Word and it intent Using an equipment and not following the manual (manufacturer's instruction) is as bad as not having the manual. When the spirit of the law is not understood, the law will be misinterpreted. You need to understand the spirit (motive) of the law to understand the law-it purpose. The bible without the Holy Spirit is as bad as never having a bible. You need the one who inspired the writing to guide in the understanding of the bible. The real author is the Holy Spirit, while those who penned it are ghost writers. Philosophies and human knowledge are appendages of the truth but must acknowledge the source.   Faith and profession is the entry level of worship of God but character is what makes us wholesomely beautiful as human. If there is anything that makes us comparable to God, it is developing wholesome character just like Him. We are most ugly if all we have to show as resembling God is our outward appearance. There is no correlation; our outwards appearance would eventually be derailed no matter the patch ups and make ups, but only our character has the features of improving with age. This does not happen automatically, it requires deliberate effort to build our core character and value system. We are a faith professing nation (Nigeria), circumstances of life as well as many attending national issues have drawn many to the ‘train’ of emergency believe system yet our nation is in a state of comatose. The new body (seed) which Jesus resurrected with after laying to bed ( death) the sinful body or nature is not our physical body or a new physical body. The new body is the seed of righteousness which birth love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness,  kindness, faithfulness,  self-control. Those were the virtues of God bestowed  upon us at creation which make us the express image of God,  but was lost at fall.
