The Responsibility of Our Faith

One of the many problems of Nigeria and one of the most gruel-some of all is religion; diversity of religion, religious intolerance to mention just a few.
Faith is very deep and personal but it is of no effect if it has no positive impact on our relationships.
Our relationship with God is worship; we do not see Him but most people believe in God, though confession and profession differ.
Our duty (relationship) to humanity is service. We must serve humanity to prove our faith. Anything short of that is heresy. It self-seeking spiritual indulgence and hocus-pocus
Our duty to our neighbour is love and to those we share same faith it is fellowship. And in fellowship and love is sharing of our challenges and resources. All the testimonies that stimulate greed are not of God but self-seeking and destroy the essence of brotherhood.
Faith is personal conviction but shared with people of the same believe system or symbol of faith.
Faith without the factor of service to humanity, fellowship and love between brethren and neighbour invalidates what we confess and profess about God or the symbol of our faith
The common system that harmonises everyone of different faith, culture and believe system is a government with a strong and enforceable constitution.
When your faith runs contrary to government rules and regulation, be ready to stand for your faith and pay the price.

A constitution need to be fair to all without prejudice and our faith is the should be the empathy eye of the law when the weak, minor etc. that are not fairly treated.
