The Irony of Life: The Mix of Chances, Choices and Consequences IV.

The system 3 thinking should normally be the system 1 thinking but most of us really like to rely on what we can see and prove empirically.  However all our mysteries can be solved if we learn to maximise the system 3 thinking which is the Holyspirit. The Holyspirit can use the above two (system 1 and 2 ) to help us make choices but the ultimate problem is that the two are prone to human errors. Our hearing ability is also subject to the level of submission of our will and senses to God.

We human often subject the Holyspirit to our feelings. The Holy Spirit has all the attributes of man but He is not baised like human because He is always speaking the truth, the obvious truths which are often not convenient. Our choices can be better guided by the Holy Spirit and the consequences is a happy ending. There is no promise of a life deviod of troubles but there will be a happy ending. You will be beyond your time and present realities and humans will persecute you for that. As a matter of fact your close families and associates will be the first to tell you to face the realities of life than accept what they call the fantasises and principles of the Holy Spirit. Staying in the assuring hands of the Holy Spirit will help us but often times we dance to the wish of people and dictate of the environment only to realise very late that we have missed the mark so bad and we have travelled far in the wrong direction.

By no matter how far away you have travelled,  the Holy Spirit is always ready to help rechart your course. You only need to trust Him and not be distracted by the regret or the seemingly irreparable or irredeemable situations.  With God all things are possible.

NB: God never created man to be inferior to Himself,  He created man in His very own image.

The Beautiful Ones are not Yet Born

History is a reminder of feats and exploits of the past. Date and time might sometimes have significant value but what is often crucial is the feat(s) achieved and when such feat is repeated or surpassed another history is written.   The writer of the book of Hebrew simply called those historical feats recorded in the previous chapters (11) as cloud of witnesses (12:1). Those clouds of witnesses are there to remind and urge us on that we can repeat similar feats and even surpass them. The writer summed it up in the last verse that we can do better and those who have gone ahead of us are waiting and urging us to surpass those feats. They will be ridiculed if we cannot surpass them. They would be incomplete if we shrink in comparison to their achievements.  History does not limit us in any form and does not want us to shrink at all from such exploit. All history is about is for us to leverage on those feats and stand on the shoulders of those heroes to see further. History be...

The road to self discovery

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?’-Marianne Williamson
