In Critical times, When Neutrality does more harm than taking an extreme position of evil

There can only be three types of Nigerians at this point in time in our history; those who are tired of the situation and really want a change badly and those who like it as it is and would like it to remain so and those who find it convenient to remain neutral in this critical time in history.
I would really love those that are neutral and who for different reasons decided to be so to take a stand. This write up was inspired by the response of someone to Agbaosi Sevezun Gloria post (Facebook). The person concluded that 2015 election had already been concluded and GEJ had won. I asked the person for clarification 'if he was only helpless about Nigerian situation or that he loved it so'. At this point in Nigeria's history I wish we just have two classes of people; those tired of the situation and wants change badly. The second class is those who love it as it is and want GEJ to remain president come 2015. I guess those causing us problems are those who decide to remain neutral in this time of crises maybe for cowardice, fear of being labelled PDP or APC or the need to please or appear to people as being meek or religious. I am one of those that are really tired, frustrated, defeated and harassed by the situation of Nigeria. I guess we have majority in this clan but for one reason or the other we have neutrals. Some hide under the religious cloak so as to appear before men as spiritual and that the kingdom of God is what they expect. I won’t expect the kingdom of God while I allow mere men and mortals make me give up hope on life where I continually look up to going to heaven than living as human being. Do I have my fears and challenges that GEJ would win irrespective of what happens? Yes I do and the fear runs me mad and it is killing me softly but I have proposed in my mind that no matter how small the chances are if there is the smallest possibility of running GEJ out of office come 2015 I will do it. Nobody will run me out of Nigeria. Nobody will make me desire abroad than home and as I put down my ink tears flow down my cheek. Nigeria will be great in my lifetime. I can’t forever be a coward and allow fellow human deprive me of my Nigerian heritage. To remain a coward in this time of crises is to do injustice to those that seek change. If you desire change but are afraid or ashamed of being defeated say it because we have the same problem but I am defying the intimidation, humiliation, torture because it is not worth living at all if one has to live in perpetual fear. Long live Nigeria. Death to your enemies Nigeria! Death to those who turn our father house to a desert! Death to those who manipulate justice! Death to those who reduce our lives through poverty; who gives us crumbs of breed to dance to their praise! The orgy is over.

The Beautiful Ones are not Yet Born

History is a reminder of feats and exploits of the past. Date and time might sometimes have significant value but what is often crucial is the feat(s) achieved and when such feat is repeated or surpassed another history is written.   The writer of the book of Hebrew simply called those historical feats recorded in the previous chapters (11) as cloud of witnesses (12:1). Those clouds of witnesses are there to remind and urge us on that we can repeat similar feats and even surpass them. The writer summed it up in the last verse that we can do better and those who have gone ahead of us are waiting and urging us to surpass those feats. They will be ridiculed if we cannot surpass them. They would be incomplete if we shrink in comparison to their achievements.  History does not limit us in any form and does not want us to shrink at all from such exploit. All history is about is for us to leverage on those feats and stand on the shoulders of those heroes to see further. History be...
