Jesus Leads The Swag Parade

Jesus had style, He had grace, He had panache,  He had swag. He dined with the classless but that was not because He had complex but because he had compassion on them. He also brought them to His class level. He also dined with the highly placed in the society.  He dined with the Pharisees.

Though the rulers of the people wanted Him to neglect the downtrodden,  He never did.

Whose son are you if the social strata of this world discriminate you. You cringe in self-pity and worthlessness because of what you don't have. You don't know what you've got inside.  That which you have inside should sell and advertise you to any socioeconomic class. It should make you acceptable.

Don't sell yourself cheap because you were bought with a heavy price. You are worth the most precious thing in heaven and earth. You are worth the suffering and death of Jesus. You are worth the life of Jesus. Yes you are and a son of the kingdom as a matter of fact!!! The younger brother of Jesus and you are the heir apparent of God. A co-ruler and joint owner of everything in heaven and earth. So let no man define your status for you. Let no one!!! Let no slave tell you that you are worth nothing in your father's house. Grow up and take charge. Slave only control a child even when the child is royal but when the child grows up to know his/her right, the slaves would have to wait on him/her and get instructions from him. So grow up and occupy your rightful place in God's Kingdom. For your information the earth is an extension of God's kingdom, so your heritage does get activater in heaven, it got activated when Jesus died. A will becomes active when the owner dies. So your heritage has been activated and it is very much active. Exercise your rights and authorities.

Shalom and take charge

The road to self discovery

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?’-Marianne Williamson

The Beautiful Ones are not Yet Born

History is a reminder of feats and exploits of the past. Date and time might sometimes have significant value but what is often crucial is the feat(s) achieved and when such feat is repeated or surpassed another history is written.   The writer of the book of Hebrew simply called those historical feats recorded in the previous chapters (11) as cloud of witnesses (12:1). Those clouds of witnesses are there to remind and urge us on that we can repeat similar feats and even surpass them. The writer summed it up in the last verse that we can do better and those who have gone ahead of us are waiting and urging us to surpass those feats. They will be ridiculed if we cannot surpass them. They would be incomplete if we shrink in comparison to their achievements.  History does not limit us in any form and does not want us to shrink at all from such exploit. All history is about is for us to leverage on those feats and stand on the shoulders of those heroes to see further. History be...

First Follow

Jesus want us to talk about Him, He wants us to lead people to Him. What we tell people about Him must be true. Our act and conduct must show we have had encounter with Him. Talk less and let your conduct show you have had encounter with Him. Now this is the real deal, you can't act it up, you will fail. Don't try to impress anybody because you will become a laughing stock. The only thing you need to do is follow Him. Follow Him until you become like Him. It is a journey and not a hundred meter dash. So don't act up as if you have no weaknesses or failings. People will see you fail and fall but it is how you rise up and follow after every fall and failure that will draw people to Him. Don't act up too holy or too perfect, just follow Him. As you follow, you will get transformed all the way. The more you look at Him and follow, the more your natural tendencies fall off. The more people see Him in you. Acting up make you look too good to b...
