Who took off your Dancing Shoe?

Truth hit me on the inside and I said to myself, how come I accepted the verdict of people on my life. Why did I accept that I can't dance? I ask you the same question. Why did you allow people tell you that you can't dance? Is it because you don't dance according to expected or normal dance convention? David never danced according to the dance convention of his time, because, if he did, his wife would not have mocked Him (2 Sam 6:16, 20). How we make people dictate how we dance because there is normal convention of dancing in town. Many have to spend time learning how to dance the new steps while God gave you a new step to dance. All the dance steps that become trendy were once seen as unconventional but somebody bold enough promoted them. A typical example was 'Kukere', a local Cross Rivers dance, which was taken to global stage and then people started learning how to dance ‘Kukere’. One thing I have learnt about dancers is that they never remain in obscurity.  Wherever you see a dancer, whether conventional or none conventional, they always take the centre stage. Dancers attract attention. It is a heavenly principle. Those who dance to God don't go unnoticed by heaven. When you dance to God, He steps down into your situation and earthly protocols are suspended, while heaven takes over your situation. Why do you let people shut you down from dancing to God? Please don't, because they are just robbing you of God's favour. David had to Shut his wife- Michal up by telling her that, he was dancing in the presence of God that Chose him above her father (King Saul) ( 2Samuel 6:21). Why do you let your situation hinder you from dancing? Those circumstances vanishes when God step in, so take back your dancing shoe and let no man tell you how and what to dance and you will see God wrought wonders and you won't be able to stop dancing. GOD does not joke when He said that He inhabit the praise of His people (Psalms 22:3). Why do you think every creature in heaven, on earth, under the earth and in the sea worship Him (Rev 5:13). Don’t be an exception; praise Him with your dance steps (Psalms 149:3). Praise God and you will see God rain down His kingdom on earth.

The Beautiful Ones are not Yet Born

History is a reminder of feats and exploits of the past. Date and time might sometimes have significant value but what is often crucial is the feat(s) achieved and when such feat is repeated or surpassed another history is written.   The writer of the book of Hebrew simply called those historical feats recorded in the previous chapters (11) as cloud of witnesses (12:1). Those clouds of witnesses are there to remind and urge us on that we can repeat similar feats and even surpass them. The writer summed it up in the last verse that we can do better and those who have gone ahead of us are waiting and urging us to surpass those feats. They will be ridiculed if we cannot surpass them. They would be incomplete if we shrink in comparison to their achievements.  History does not limit us in any form and does not want us to shrink at all from such exploit. All history is about is for us to leverage on those feats and stand on the shoulders of those heroes to see further. History be...
