The Emergency Miracle

Sometimes in life one becomes trapped in certain situations where one feels helpless. Even the ardent of atheist cry to God for help and in most cases God do come through for us.

If God is not coming through for you, please look around for the opportunities that God has surrounded you with and most times God's blessings are in those untapped opportunities.  If you have past the weaning stage of life, God will not dropped your miracles on your lap but give you opportunities to tap into. This is because most of us exhausted our emergency miracle without sowing the seed from the emergency miracle

Remember the case of cannibalism that occurred in the bible when people started eating their sons and daughters for food. A cry was directed at the King who directed the anger to the prophet. The prophet who was attuned with the season brought words from the Lord and miracle happened.  There was surplus food at the gate of Samaria the second day. Yes real miracle and most of us dwell in this position for long, expecting the hand-outs of God's miracle every time. We forget that having been under siege for a long time the people were hungry and the possibility was high that most would eat the entire portion they got in the miracle while few entrepreneurs will sow some for wind fall of harvest to come at the right season. It means while many are having plenty to eat in a short season, entrepreneurs were rationing their portion and sowing some so that at time of harvest the real plenty will come because they cannot afford to rely on emergencies and relief miracles all the times. 

The entrepreneurs enrich themselves, but they also save the people from hunger though they have to collect money (most cases the little people have) to exchange for the product and services on offer. That is why some people hate entrepreneurs but they forget the fact that such people had to go hungry to make such product available.  They cure hunger and need thus their services is Unquantifiable and hence the need to get paid for their sacrifice.  God will always come through for you when you are trapped and without hope but remember to always sow and not just be the eater. Remember there was manna (God's emergency miracle through the wilderness) but as soon as the people of God stepped and settled into the land the supply stopped because God expected them to have planted enough to make them live well. Don’t hang your life on emergency miracle. Sow your precious seed and in harvest season you will reap in manifold.

Miracles happen but they are not expected to be a way of life and means of living.  Miracles are God's intervention to our hopelessness and they are expected to carry us to a period where we can make good choices, thus it should not be where we dwell all the days of our life
