General Muhammad Buhari, Please Make us Dream Again



'General Muhammad Buhari (GMB) makes us believe again that Nigeria is worth sacrificing for. Make us believe and hope again that the labour of our heroes past is worth toiling for and working on. Let us believe again that our children have a hope and future in their fatherland'


I don’t have anything to gain personally from GMB and GEJ that is why I will vote for GMB. I will vote for GMB because I want to see my friends and family smile again. I want them on their own to be able to put food on their table without necessarily belonging to any party. I want to think less about their worries and be able to face my own world of opportunities and possibilities. I want to be able to see my friends and Brothers in Plateau, Adamawa, Yobe, Kano, Borno smile because they know they are secured and they are not in fear that there would be a bomb blast or kidnap in any moment from the present. I want to see my mates; people I share aspirations and dreams with and we would be able to sit, talk and project our life for the future- a life where Nigeria offers hope, succour and comfort. A life where I won’t dream of America, UK, Canada, Australia , Dubai but a life where Nigeria and Nigeria alone becomes my number one priorities and choice destination amongst the league of nation. I want to sleep and wake up to be able to think of what I can do for Nigerians and Nigeria not how much I can oppress and exploit my brothers and sisters just to secure a future for my children. I want to be able to wake up each day and look my daughter in the eyes and see hope and joy rise and not diminish as she enters adulthood. I want to wake up and look at her eyes and be bold to tell her that though I might not have millions and billions stocked up for her somewhere but that she is secure, safe and sound in her fatherland. If ever I venture or she ventures abroad it is to hoist the flag of Nigeria high amongst the League of Nations. I want to dream again and I want my brothers and sisters to dream and there is just one man who makes me dream again, who makes me want to take the risk of believing again and that man is General Muhammed Buhari.

Makes us believe again that Nigeria is worth sacrificing for. Make us believe and hope again that the labour of our heroes past is worth toiling for and working on. Let us believe again that our children have a hope and future in their fatherland. Make us believe again that we don’t need to steal for our children for them to be safe and secured. Let us believe again in values and virtues and that money is transient. Let us believe again that our best resources is not the oil in Niger Delta that burns us to stupor but that the excellence of our resources are our people-we Nigerians and we alone
