There is Famine in the Land but there is help on the way

There is famine in the land (Nigeria) just as it was in the days of Elisha, when Syria besieged Israel and locked all the gates to the country. The economic activities became crippled just as it is now in our land. The people resorted to eating abominable things just as is the custom in our land today.
The head of a horse and the droppings (excreta) of dove became the staple food and those abominable and inedible items came at a ridiculous and an unaffordable price that only the rich of the society could afford it.
The famine got so embarrassing that people began to use their young ones for food. In our land Nigeria, our children (sons and daughters) are consumed by our economic situation. They have become prostitutes, victims of money rituals, children that need to be catered for becomes the bread winners of the family using different illegal and illicit means (advanced free fraud etc.) to provide a means of sustenance for self and family. In the midst of the whole chaos, a woman ran to the king for help and the king in turn knew there was nothing he could do but seek divine intervention. He sent for one man of God he could trust; using the weapon of threat and his power to seek for solution from God but the case of Nigeria runs contrary to what was obtained in the days of Elisha. Our King has not sent for help from the men of God that stand for truth in Nigeria but from men who scamper to eat from the crumbs of bread that falls from the kings table. The men of God that serve both God and Mammon and those that serves God with Mammon. They are abominable in his sight. They beat the drum of false hope and transformation through organisation (TAN et al) that have feed fat on mammon but the time has finally come for God to destroy those who equate Him with money (mammon) and because the King was actually helpless and referred the case to God, your case has been directly connected to the source of life for solution. There is help on the way for Nigeria. There is help on the way for our ravaged homes. There is help on the way for our shattered lives (2kings6:24-7:20). The power of this world that have shut the economic gate of your family, life and our nations have been intimidated, frustrated and destroyed and those who have been too intimidated to come to your aid, mine aid and to the aid of our nation will rise up and come to our aid. Men and woman of virtue take up the whole armour of God because now is the time to take the battle to the enemies’ gate; to shun and defeat corruption at all level and to declare God kingdom and righteousness on our land and economy. Labour in prayers and work to take our dear nation to the promise land.
Peace

The road to self discovery

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?’-Marianne Williamson

The Beautiful Ones are not Yet Born

History is a reminder of feats and exploits of the past. Date and time might sometimes have significant value but what is often crucial is the feat(s) achieved and when such feat is repeated or surpassed another history is written.   The writer of the book of Hebrew simply called those historical feats recorded in the previous chapters (11) as cloud of witnesses (12:1). Those clouds of witnesses are there to remind and urge us on that we can repeat similar feats and even surpass them. The writer summed it up in the last verse that we can do better and those who have gone ahead of us are waiting and urging us to surpass those feats. They will be ridiculed if we cannot surpass them. They would be incomplete if we shrink in comparison to their achievements.  History does not limit us in any form and does not want us to shrink at all from such exploit. All history is about is for us to leverage on those feats and stand on the shoulders of those heroes to see further. History be...

First Follow

Jesus want us to talk about Him, He wants us to lead people to Him. What we tell people about Him must be true. Our act and conduct must show we have had encounter with Him. Talk less and let your conduct show you have had encounter with Him. Now this is the real deal, you can't act it up, you will fail. Don't try to impress anybody because you will become a laughing stock. The only thing you need to do is follow Him. Follow Him until you become like Him. It is a journey and not a hundred meter dash. So don't act up as if you have no weaknesses or failings. People will see you fail and fall but it is how you rise up and follow after every fall and failure that will draw people to Him. Don't act up too holy or too perfect, just follow Him. As you follow, you will get transformed all the way. The more you look at Him and follow, the more your natural tendencies fall off. The more people see Him in you. Acting up make you look too good to b...
